Worthy Redeemer Kids

We will  tell the coming generation of
The glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
And the wonders that he has done.
That the next generation might know them,
The children yet unborn,
And arise and tell them to their children,
So that they should set their hope in God.

Psalm 78:4, 6-7

Worthy Redeemer Kids
Mission and Vision

The mission of Worthy Redeemer Church is to make disciples who make disciples, for the good of the city and to the glory of Christ. Worthy Redeemer Kids exists as an extension of this mission to ignite hope in child disciples across generations. We will tell of the Lord’s wonders so that our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will set their hope in God.

What We Teach

Worthy Redeemer Kids uses Wonder Ink.  Wonder Ink is a valuable tool for increasing our effectiveness in teaching our children both their need for salvation and the practical applications of the Word meaningfully at a level that is easily grasped by kids. The curriculum focuses on smaller portions of Scripture each lesson, so we encourage your children to bring their Bibles to Worthy Redeemer Kids with them, and follow along as the Word is taught. If your child does not have a Bible, please let us know and we will get them one!

Safety at
Worthy Redeemer Kids

Safety of your children is top priority at Worthy Redeemer Church. For this reason, all Worthy Redeemer Kids workers submit to a complete background screening prior to serving and participate in ongoing annual training. To maintain this high standard of safety, we ask that parents do not enter our classrooms.

You may see student workers (those  in grades 6-12) assisting in your child’s classroom. These workers have also been screened and trained and are there as extra hands to provide the best child-to-worker ratio possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have children's classes on Sunday morning?

Yes! We offer two classes: one for ages 1-4, and another for Kindergarten-5th grade.

Check-in begins at 9:45am. Children ages 1-4 may join their class as soon as they are checked in at the WR Kids desk; children in grades Kindergarten-5th will join their parent(s) for a portion of the worship service, and then will be dismissed to their classrooms.

Do you have any resources available for parents?

Yes! After kids ministry each week, our kids director sends out a summary email to parents that includes a brief description of the lesson from that week as well as discussion questions for the family.

What if I am new to Worthy Redeemer Kids?
